I promised something short, and for once, I delivered. Here’s a couple of clips from a rainy day session earlier this week at work shot with my friend Anthony’s 5d. Would’ve shot more but he had to leave. I ran through the checklist and I think I have everything:

Helvetica
Watched the movie documentary ‘Helvetica’ last night, and aside from being very nicely shot and put together, it was also very interesting. Makes you think twice about the impact the font you choose for titling ‘R@d Tr!ckzz montage #237’ will have on a viewer. Pretty cool, and not something I had given a good amount of thought to before… (because obviously, I tend to stick to my favorites: Curlz, Wingdings, Papyrus, and Bauhaus 93.)

I filmed the majority of this, and edited it. I really don’t like it, but A) demos are hard to film, and B) you can only polish a turd so much. That being said, enjoy it for what it is. I’ll have an edit of a more recent DVS demo (at platform skate shop!) up on thursday, which I promise will be much more enjoyable.
My apologies for lack of street content lately… While it may make visiting this site less enjoyable, everything I’ve been filming recently is for videos or projects that aren’t mine, and I have no business leakin’ it.
